Hochwertiger Zahnersatz, Kronen, Brücken, Zahnprothesen bei Zahnarzt Dr. Paulsen in Bad Honnef bei Bonn

Teeth "without gaps" are needed to chew and speak properly. Appearance can also suffer from a missing tooth. If a truth is lost or damage to a tooth is too severe for a filling or crown, the missing tooth should be replaced as quickly as possible. This is not only recommended for esthetic purposes, but is also necessary from a dental perspective, as the teeth to the right and left of the missing tooth will begin to tilt and thereby can cause incorrect alignment of other teeth or even problems with the mandibular joints. The far reaching consequences of missing teeth that are not replaced can be pain in the jaw, back of the neck, back or joints, or even dizziness and equilibrium disorders.

Missing teeth - no thank you!

Modern dental medicine offers many possibilities to restore the function and esthetic appearance of teeth to the patient's full satisfaction and without impairment of quality of life in the process. Therefore, the most advanced therapy methods and high-quality materials are essential to us in the process of tooth replacement. After an in-depth diagnosis and consultation we determine the best type of tooth replacement together with our patient.

Our dental practice in Bad Honnef near Bonn is proud to collaborate with one of the best German dental laboratories, Oral Design Bochum, and thereby guarantee the highest level of quality and esthetic appearance for your tooth replacement.

Tooth replacement should not be recognized as such and should be integrated in a way that it feels like natural teeth - a natural looking and functionally perfect tooth replacement.

What are the types of tooth replacement?

Dental crown

If a decayed tooth is damaged to an extent that it cannot be treated with a filling or inlay, the crown replaces the lost dental substance. This means that the root is still healthy and the tooth is reconstructed. The most esthetically demanding and premium solution for a crown as the full ceramic crown, because ceramic can be perfectly matched to the color and shape of the natural teeth and has a very natural appearance.

Partial crown

If the damage to the tooth is too extensive for a filling, but not extensive enough to require a full crown, the dentist usually provides the patient with a partial crown. The partial crown can be made of gold as well as pure ceramic.

Dental bridge

If teeth are lost, the dental bridge can be used as a permanent tooth replacement and replace one or several teeth in a row. If a veneer or full ceramic is used as material, the color and shape of the bridge can be optimally matched to the existing natural teeth.

Telescoping bridge

A telescoping bridge is a special form of a telescoping prosthesis. It is the most comfortable and esthetically pleasing alternative to conventional partial dentures.

Implants and implant-supported prostheses

Implants - artificial roots - are the most elegant solution to replace missing teeth in the most perfect way from a medical as well as cosmetic perspective, because they are safely anchored in the bone and extremely stable, comfortable, beautiful and easily tolerated. Our practice works with a 3D implant procedure in order to provide our patients with the highest level of safety.

Furthermore, with the placement of several implants per jaw, a firm fitting prosthesis can be produced. In a manner of speaking, the implants serve as a supportive foundation for a bridge or prosthesis.

Full prostheses, partial prostheses or telescopic prostheses

Dental prostheses are a removable or permanent tooth replacement or a combination of both and are grouped into partial and full prostheses or telescopic prostheses. Based on the status of still existing natural teeth (or in case of adontia), we will find the best type of replacement for you after a thorough diagnosis and consultation.

Functional analysis services (FAS) tooth replacement

Functional analysis helps us achieve the perfect fit of the dental replacement. With jaw registration we record the exact bite relationship of upper and lower jaw. These values assist us in integrating the tooth replacement perfectly and with proper functionality into the masticatory system so that it does not cause interferences, pain or damage.
